NO WAY NEW RICK BLOG BEFORE 2025? I can't believe it either! But yes, I came out of retirement to make the penultimate blog for this year. I am VERY SURPRISED it didn't get called "The Festive" or "The _____", but that's for the Thoughts section.

Prizes

The leaked prizes look awesome, but I have a feeling they're gonna be the timed items instead of prizes because they're just too good to be true.

Negative Connotation

Roblox events after The Classic have been getting worse and worse... In my The Classic Afterthoughts blog, I said events were slowly improving but they have changed for the worse. First comes the Games, way too many games but cool bossfight. Next comes The Haunt, literally just an avatar competition. Hopefully the Winter Spotlight will be good, it doesn't help that KreekCraft said something along the lines of "you won't be happy with the event".

Release Date

We did not get much time to prepare. The release date is literally just one day after the teaser video (December 17th), which is a good and a bad thing. On one hand, we don't have much time to prepare for the event. On the other, we don't have to wait long for the event.

The Lobby

The Lobby is just Roblox's generic waiting lobby. There seems to be a slope that will probably be used for sleigh racing. What's different from the normal waiting lobby is the billboards, some just advertise nonexistent things and others advertise actual Roblox games like "PETS GO!".

Final Thoughts

It's not looking good for The Festive Winter Spotlight, but I still have hope. Personally, I think adding the recent Roblox update (whatever it was, I forgot) will be a part of the event. But you'll have to wait until the Afterthoughts for thoughts on real things that happened instead of educated guesses and leaks!
